When Haley Renee said she wanted to do a concept shoot, I immediately thought of shooting at The Book Cellar in Lincon, California. This used book store is full of great decorations and hallways and props everyplace. Haley wanted to try a sexy librarian concept and these are the results.
I shot with the Fujifilm X-T3, 35mm f1.4mm lens and an on camera flash.
Model Leanna Sommer visited my studio on Sunday and we got some fun pictures all over the studio and yard. A few samples of our work.
To get the laptop light, I placed some LED lights in front of the computer screen. I also had the model sit on a roll of paper towels to raise her up above screen level. I also had a Godex continuous light to camera right in a strip box.
When Annalise Nobile said she wanted to shoot at Bishops Pumpkin farm, I really didn’t know what to expect, other then a lot of people. I had never visited the farm before but I was really amazed by the size. It was more of a county fair grounds environment vs a farm situation. Not only did we capture some great pumpkin pictures, but we also found some places to get a unique moody vibe.
Model Laura Tipon asked me to shoot her around the old homes of Nevada City to help compliment her already vintage look. I am really happy with the results.
